Tiling Adventures, part two

Well, we are making progress... slowly but surely.  And by 'we,' I definitely mean Chris.  He has been working hard on this bathroom remodel and it is looking so good!  It's fun to see all of the finishes put into place, which is also a huge relief to see that everything coordinates well together!  My design skills aren't failing me on this big remodel, thank goodness!

Last night I got a bit carried away and had to try out the new freestanding tub faucet next to the new marble mosaic wall just to see how it was all going to look together!  I think it's safe to say that I can't wait to put that beautiful tub in and have a nice long bubble bath.

While we certainly won't be doing any tiling 101 posts anytime soon, we still feel pretty proud of our first attempts at it, and with quite a big project at that!  The floor is up next after we finish the last few mosaic pieces on the wall, and while we are hopeful that it will go quicker than the wall tile -- since we won't be back buttering each individual tile -- it is still quite a large space so we are gearing up for several solid days spent on this part of the project.  We are hoping to start this weekend if we are able to get the cement board on the floors before then.  All going well, we might have a floor sneak peek sometime later next week!  I can't wait for you to see the floor tile that we chose!  Eek!

Happy Wednesday!
